Recently, I had the joy of photographing an adorable baby boy who was turning the big O-N-E! This little guy absolutely stole the show — and no doubt my heart — during his custom-themed milestone session. The Themes: Sesame Street Meets Outer Space 🚀🌟
We kicked off the session with his milestone portraits. And let me just say — the camera loved him! First up was a cheerful Sesame Street setup, complete with bright colors and familiar faces that brought out the biggest smiles. (Elmo, you’ve got competition.)
Next, we zoomed off into a space-themed scene — planets, stars, and all the wonder of the galaxy, perfectly matched to this little explorer’s curious personality. He may not have said “Houston, we have a problem,” but he did beam with joy like a tiny astrophysicist discovering his first moon (his dad is indeed a physicist, lol).
Let Them Eat Cake! 🎂
After capturing those sweet milestone shots, it was time for the cake smash — and oh boy, did this baby understand the assignment. We kept the background simple and white to let all the messy fun and colorful frosting really pop. And pop it did… all over his hands, face, and the floor (sorry, cake… you never stood a chance).
Watching him poke, squish, and finally dive in was pure joy — and let’s just say, his expressions ranged from curious to victorious. And yes, there was a “frosting mustache” moment. Classic.
Splash Time! 🛁💦
Once the cake was sufficiently conquered, it was time to rinse off with a bubble bath splash episode in our adorable mini tub. With bubbles floating through the air and warm water splashing around, this little one was all giggles. There’s something about babies and bubbles that just melts hearts — and makes for the most joyful photos.
Honestly, it was the perfect finale to a fun-filled session. Clean baby, happy baby, and the cutest bath-time memories captured forever.
